Eagle eyed visitor Nomaded just left a comment to our Evernote Beta Story that, today only, Evernote has opened their beta program to everyone who clicks a special link. Evernote is popular software used for taking notes and organizing web clippings. The program is available for web, Windows and the Mac OS. The latest version also synchronizes data effortlessly amongst all three platforms.

The new Evernote closed beta is about two months old and we’ve just passed an important milestone: our first one million notes! During this time, we’ve made lots of improvements to the service and we’ll be announcing a few more big things in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned.
