iSeeCars crawls 2,000+ web sites including Craigslist.com, Cars.com, Google as well as newspaper sites and the eBay auctions offering used cars. It compiles and provides the results in one easily searchable page. Presently you can search for used cars offered in eleven regions (mostly centered around the east and west coasts). A quick search of Hartford uncovered some cars for sale (Update: Reader Mike Fisher just noted in the comments that when he narrowed the search radius to 15 miles there were a lot of local cars) – but only from surrounding states – so the site still needs to beef up at least some regions. Especially interesting is their spolighting of listings that indicate the owners is “moving” – always a source of potentially sweeter deals.
