Spammers love situations where it is difficult to block their sill messages -- and Twitter is about the easiest to bypass. Luckily one of the biggest drawbacks of Twitter is that unless people follow you, nobody really hears your message. And that sort of works in our favor with Twitter spammers. This type of thing is easy to manage when the numbers are small, but I bet within a month this type of spam problem escalates.
