Take one big fishing pole. Attach a half dozen steaks. Get in the water with the pole and sit on a surfboard. Cast it out to a shark. Hook a ride into shore. That’s pretty much what this video claims to show. I’m not sold that this is authentic. Entertaining? Heck yeah.

I’m pretty sure this guy is being towed behind a wave runner. I’m not sure sharks will stay on the surface that long. It’s just too “perfect” a picture of a share.

When I dove in the Bahamas we saw TONS of sharks and except for when our boat was mooring and they thought we were there to feed, none were visible from the surface.

PS – If you ever go to the Bahamas you MUST do the shark dive. If you’re not certified you can snorkel at the surface and watch the sharks circle about 40 to 60 feet below you. Very interesting. They’ll pull you all out of the water and create a feeding frenzy off the back of the boat — barely 10 feet away.

    Stuart Cove does this.

The video is tagged as “comedy” on YouTube; nevertheless – it is a crazy ride. :-)

Looks like fun. Too bad I don’t know how to swim.
