When I dove in the Bahamas we saw TONS of sharks and except for when our boat was mooring and they thought we were there to feed, none were visible from the surface.
PS - If you ever go to the Bahamas you MUST do the shark dive. If you&#039;re not certified you can snorkel at the surface and watch the sharks circle about 40 to 60 feet below you. Very interesting. They&#039;ll pull you all out of the water and create a feeding frenzy off the back of the boat -- barely 10 feet away.
