The Verizon 8330 aka Blackberry Curve is scheduled to ship May 9 (online orders – stores get them May 12) for $270 according to Gizmodo. Looks like a few lucky Howardforum members were persistent in calling the Verizon customer service line and scoring a device for themselves for delivery today – a full week ahead of schedule! Multiple forum participants report being issued tracking numbers and seeing charges on their credit card. If you absolutely can’t wait, looks like begging Verizon may work.Update: Forum members are reporting this is a YMMV (your mileage may vary) scenario – with some member being allowed to order and others denied the privilege. If you do get a sympathetic CSR, mentioning SKU code bb8330c may help them find it in their system.
