I don't think that people who haven't seen the series should not go see it. I DO wish the cars were a bit less plasticy looking, but they looked pretty good with my favorite after the Mach 5 being Racer X's Road Car. I also wish tht the other cars were "less" special. Speed was always a awesome driver, but the Mach 5 was a special vehicle. When they all have weapons and gadgets, it a bit less special if you know what I mean. I'm not sure why, but I really have almost no desire to see this. Maybe if I had kids, I'd be more into it, but as it is I'm probably just going to wait for the DVD release.
