While Judie is at Mobius getting here hands on Zincs and Advantages, the guys over at ePrice have managed to get hold of a HTC Diamond, and have photographed the unboxing for all of us to peruse.
Seems the wacky angles theme not only encapsulates the device but the box as well! I’m looking forward to giving one of these a go!

HTC call this their first “fashion” phone. I don’t get it. Why isn’t it considered a “power user” device? What’s missing?

@kevinnugent – I think it is because “power users” typically want a keyboard, more memory, better battery life, and maybe a VGA screen. The diamond has a ton of features for a “fashion phone” (GPS, WiFi, etc.); at least it can’t ever be accused of being a dumb phone.

I would say that “fashion” phone is reffering to the design of the device and the fact that is created to be as small, thin and light as possible even at the expens of some features “pwer users” would want, like bigger battery, flash card slot, possibly a slide out keyboard. It’s created to compete directly with iPhone and similar phones…
