Well folks, here we are in sunny Orlando, Florida. It’s the time of the year again for WES, otherwise known as the Wireless Enterprise Symposium. For those of you who don’t know what WES is, think of it as the biggest gathering of Blackberry Crack addicts from around the world; they all show up for this.
Just in case any of you were sleeping under a rock yesterday, the Blackberry 9000 series, aka the “Bold” was finally officially announced. What do you think, do we finally have an all in one Blackberry? Lets see:
624mhz processor
1gb of internal memory
HSDPA/EDGE with an EVDO sister right around the corner.
GPS
WiFi A,B,G
Man I hope so, but what will the battery life be like, only time will tell of course. What’s next, an all in one Palm Treo? We can only wish, right?
After spending the last couple of days here going crazy, I can say without a doubt it was well worth it. What a great chance to catch up with all my peers while learning so much. For those of you out there that manage a Blackberry World, if you have never been I would highly recommend it by all means. Now, I promised Judie a whole bunch of pictures, but once I saw who else was here covering the event I thought it only fair that you should check these two other websites out for all the latest and greatest info, pictures, blogs, comments and just one heck of a coverage perspective.
Go over to http://www.blackberrycool.com and http://www.crackberry.com. These guys did one heck of a job, really covering the entire show.
Enjoy, Tt
Also, just as a little heads-up, more to follow over the next couple of weeks as I track down some leads on some new devices expected this year, besides the “Bold” from RIM.

Did they have any sessions on the next version of the BB OS? I am having trouble finding the sessions on any of the other sites (if they existed). It’s all about the photo-shopped touch screen Blackberry.
Did they show their next generation web browser that will probably be the make or break component of the Bold?
