Wow – and I thought that I had a lot of free time on my hands. Frequent forum poster XBGM3R has simultaneously hit up CrackBerry.com, PinStack, his blog site BLKBRY TECH, and the popular BlackberryForums with news that the Blackberry Bold just made an initial appearance on the AT&T web site. This (again) confirms previous announcements that AT&T is indeed the exclusive initial US carrier. Unfortunately all that AT&T shows are standard device shots – sans any pricing or firm availability dates. On Friday morning we noted InfoSync’s chart which predicts a July 2008 delivery date for the new Blackberry Bold as well as late 2008 delivery to the other 3 carriers, which if true would make this be one of the shorter exclusive phone arrangements in history. Prediction: RIM needs to nail two things on this new device – (a) Multi-Media and (b) Browser – or it’s going to be game over.
