GearDeal: Black & Decker Backup Power Supply – $10 or Free after Google Checkout

I just spotted this deal from Buy.com on the Black and Decker Pocket Power Backup Batter Pack. The concept behind this power source is that you charge it via your AC outlet (8 hours for a full charge), then carry it with you along with your normal device charger. The Black & Decker contains both a USB and AC outlet to plug your device into for power and provides a claimed 5 hours of combined power/recharge capabilities. Downside to the charger is that it’s heavy and requires 8 hours for a full re-charge. For $10 (or free if you open and use a new Google Checkout account) it might be handy to keep in your gear bag – this price is $26 cheaper than what you’d pay over at Amazon.
