The latest version of the Better GMAIL add-on for Firefox has been released. While there are a lot of improvements to this free utility, the one that I like the most is the addition of a great new skin (Gmail Redesigned) that totally changes the appearance of my GMAIL.

To use this update you’ll need to be using the latest version of Gmail. The add-in creates a new menu choice on your Firefox - Tools menu. Changing various items such as the look of your Gmail screen are accomplished via the Better Gmail 2 option screens.

Some additional new features in this latest release include:

HTML Signatures - automatically insert an HTML signature into your Gmail messages based on the email address you are sending from - this is an awesome feature that lets you match the right signature when you are using multiple email addresses from within GMAIL.

Filter Assistant - filter email messages based upon information contained in the email you are reading. Brings filtering criteria all onto one screen and easily accessible from individual messages.
