Only in America. A group in Santa Fe New Mexico argues that they are allergic to wireless Internet signals (aka Wi-Fi) and want the use of Wi-Fi banned from public places. They claim it is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. City council member Ron Trujillo appears to have a lot of common sense when he replies “It’s not 1692, it’s 2008. Santa Fe needs to embrace this technology, it’s not going away”. The city attorney is hard at work researching this issue and hopes to have a legal recommendation soon. Unbelievable.
