If you are in a warm climate zone (as I am) some folks did not think the A/C would cool down enough on the hottest days but I believe they solved that with the new model.
Some folks just don't "get" Scion and I believe that is a strong selling point for the brand.
So much potential. Find out where the next Scion event is and check it out. Fanatical fans those scions have. and that dual cover magazine with the cool cutouts for your desk.
Enjoy!
I just hope you don't have to put that beige spacesaver spare tire on it ever.

The xB has been on my secret wish list since it’s first being introduced on the west coast in first generation. I read that for the 2008 model year, they added additional insulation/noise deadening to improve things vs. the Gen 1 xB. I came from a fairly noise sports car so, to me, this vehicle seems pretty quiet. It's not "Buick" quiet, but, for a smaller car, the noise level is pretty low in my opinion.

I find the interior noise to be reasonable. Thanks

How is it “road noise” wise? It was an incredibly functional vehicle and really loaded up for the price, but outside the Great Lakes they were nearly non-existent. The sister vehicle - the Buick Rendezvous was much more popular. When the sales numbers on the Aztek started to climb GM decided to axe the vehicle. Many people thought it was because Bob Lutz (who had just taken over at GM) really hated body cladding like that worn by the Aztek and the Chevy Avalanche (which lost most of it's cladding the next year).
But yeah - I was one of those that actually bought it!

It’s funny, because up in Detroit and Chicago you’d see them everywhere. Actually, I remember the ads they played in movie theaters (summer 2002?), and the car had a lot of cool features. The wrapper was just...kinda funky. ;-)

OMG…you were one of the five who bought an Aztek?! <img

In any case, I've determined that it's really easy to find in the supermarket parking lot! Another perk by my way of thinking.
By way of "disclosure" I should point out that I used to own a Pontiac Aztek - bright yellow. So this one is truly "subtle" by comparison.

I think they turn their heads out of concern for my mental health.
