Did you miss the big Windows 7 (tentative announced ship of “late 2009″) sneak peak that happened last night at the D6 conference? Both Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer were on stage to explain how Windows 7 will be even cooler than Vista. Looks like Microsoft is expanding on the Surface technology they demoed at last year’s conference. It demos nicely, but aren’t these early releases always cool. When Windows Vista was unveiled it was accompanied by a lot of ooohs and aaahs as welll.

Exactly my thoughts Wayne. For some reason, I can’t stop thinking about finger gymnastics and heavy cursing. I hope they make the screens with a “temperamental tap, exasperated heavy double-tap and vicious annoyed scratching” proof features.
