If you have a new MacBook Pro still within the one year limited warranty and you’ve yet to add the recommended Applecare Protection Plan – you’re in luck. Amazon third party seller Tech for Less is offering Applecare for Powerbook (also works for MBP per several forum members commenting on this Macrumors thread) for the low price of $208.27 shipped. While it’s possible to find this less expensively from eBay sellers, the price on Amazon is $140 less than what Apple will sell it to you for and there’s no messy bidding involved. Up to you, but if you’re interested I’d pounce. This deal is hitting Fatwallet and Slickdeals and may sell out over the weekend.
