Yah… I’m iPhone nuts today… I was looking at the Apple store this morning, hoping that someone would blow it, and post the availability of the new device accidentally this morning (I have my PayPal debit card cocked, locked, and ready to rock!) and noticed that AT&T has joined the “Unlimited” trend when it comes to voice and data.
While they don’t have the cheapest plan in town, their all you can eat voice and data plan for the iPhone is priced at $119.99. While I won’t be going that high with my plan, I may bump things up a bit; but I’m not entirely certain. I’ve got over 4000 roll over minutes banked and don’t think I’m in danger of losing any, any time soon, no matter how much I yack on the device.
The plan itself isn’t bad, especially if you know you’re going to use the device. Also, if you ditch your land line and go cell only, this is a great way of keeping the phone bill down and under control.

I just joined the unlimited plan because it’s going to replace both my mobile phone lines.
The $119 is steep until you consider that I make almost all my office calls on my cell phone.
I was also paying around $8/mo for 6pm NW which I was able to eliminate.
The one thing that I think stinks with AT&T’s unlimited plan is they should include SMS just like Sprint does with Simply Everything.

I agree with you. If they would do that, I might make the switch anyway… Right now, even with all of the TXT updates I get from Twitter, I’m not in danger of blowing pas the 1500 TXT messages that I have though. I checked last night, and I’ve only used about 200 or so, so just over 10% for the month.
