Right now I’m listening to Sirius Radio streaming live to my iPhone. It’s all courtesy of a new application from Millard Software. uSirius for the iPhone BETA v.50 is available for download (Jailbroken iPhone required) by adding the installer source http://www.millardsoftware.com/files/downloads/usirius/iphone/iphone.xml . Audio quality is great, but this is clearly an early beta. As I travelled from Wi-Fi (where I started my testing) to EDGE – my iPhone crashed requiring a full reset. I tested this on an EDGE data signal and the stream will play but there are starts and stops and it doesn’t seem as stable as when I use Wi-Fi. More screen shots on the next page as well as a link to the site.
Here’s a (bad) photo that I took of the main screen:

Here’s the uSirius About Screen:

Here’s a typical channel. Notice that artist information is displayed. I don’t know whether future plans could include album artwork (hopefully).

Remember this is still a beta program, and it crashed my iPhone a few times. It works best with a Wi-Fi connection and requires a Jailbroken iPhone.
Download uSirius Beta by adding the source – http://www.millardsoftware.com/files/downloads/usirius/iphone/iphone.xml – to your Jailbroken iPhone’s installer.
