Walt Mossberg reviews the Samsung Instinct and it’s not pretty

Walter Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal is out with his Samsung Instinct review. It’s what could most politely be called tepid. He starts by calling the Instinct an iPhone lookalike and knocks it for lacking Wi-Fi and only containing one-quarter of the memory the base iphone includes. His review ends like most others I’ve read. The Samsung Instinct is an ok phone for those locked into a contract with Sprint – but it’s no iPhone. He also points out that the browser is sub par. PS - Sprint pricing for the Samsung Instinct is expected to be $199 after rebates. The same price as the iPhone. Big mistake in my opinion and I think you’ll see the Samsung Instinct free after rebates within 6 months.
