If you’re a hardcore Palm fan but love the layout of the iPhone screen – you may be interested in this program. For $6.99 you can turn your standard Palm desktop into an iPhone lookalike. The launcher requires Palm OS 5 and 200K of memory. It supports finger scrolling, drag and drop icons, and dropping web links (aka bookmarks) directly on the desktop. Treo and Centro users can also get the jazzy ” new message count” to show the number of new messages on their SMS icon. There’s a trial version where you can launch the first 10 apps in the TouchLauncher database. If nothing else, this would be a fun program to goof on your uneducated friends by convincing them that your Palm is running the iPhone software. Check out the YouTube demo on the next page.
