The hot temperatures outside can cause any good ole boy or gal to turn on the body stink. Even if you don’t stink, after a crazy stressful day at work, there is nothing more pleasing than a nice, long hot shower.
Why even shower? Showers can cool down the body temperature, clean the dirt and associated stink off, clean the pores, gives adequate moisture for the skin, and best of all, makes one socially acceptable!
A perfect shower is having the water at the right temperature. Here’s a perfect replacement showerhead – a Temperature Controlled LED Shower Light that will make your shower the talk among your friends.
This showerhead lets you know when the water is getting hot! According the web site, “Turn the water “on” and a flood of blue light shines down through the shower stream - cool blue refreshing. When the water gets “hot” (89 F/32 C), the LED lights change from blue to red, letting you know that the water is hot and ready!”
True to its claim, there are no batteries required.
There is an internal turbine that generates the power to appropriately code the water as cold (LCD blue) or just right (LCD Red).
Once the hot water reaches the temperature, it stays red. Keep it mind the water “hotness” still needs to be adjusted to your personal preference.
There are no other color changes like orange, yellow, or purple should your water heater be cranked up to 120 F; it’s either blue or red.
The Shower Light is easy to install. Be sure than Teflon (plumber’s tape) is used to prevent leaks and that a soft cloth is used to prevent scratches on the connector when tightening with an adjustable wrench.
There is a water flow regulator that cranks the water down to 2.5 gpm at 80 psi if you prefer the old house, no water pressure effect. I just simply removed the black rubber regulator for a much better water flow.
The LCD light is pretty bright, but not blinding – for those who like to sing in the shower, the red light sets the proper karaoke atmosphere. Taking showers in the dark shows your commitment to save on electricity as well!
The novelty aspect of having a lighted showerhead will encourage the young kids to shower regularly.
The Shower Light has a good spray effect with multiple nozzle holes, however there are no multiple settings for different spray effects.

So take a hot shower – knock that stress off, and smell socially good at the same time. The Shower Light is a fun, wacky, awesome gift item for that special someone in your life.
The Shower Light is available at WowCoolStuff.com
MSRP: $49.99
What I Like: Works as advertised, requires no batteries, easy to install with instruction sheet.
What Needs Improvement: Is pricey, but makes for a nice novelty item for the bathroom. Should include a small roll of Teflon tape.

I never thought of using this to get the kids to get interested in taking their shower. Cool idea.

Nice! No need to have an additional shower stall light, I take it?
