a- Making it easy to understand what RSS feeds are (essentially headlines of articles which when clicked take you to the full article) without having to worry about readers or loading in the RSS url.
b- Creating the site so it's iPhone friendly - and since the top sites are all on these feeds - by bookmarking AllTops you get a really quick read of the days news.
I'm not ashamed to admit that instead of stumbling downstairs first thing in the morning to read a newspaper (how old fashioned) -- I get all my news off the computer - usually from the iPhone while still in bed. The last few days I've been amazed at how thorough these feeds are.
In the office I use Google Reader a lot. But the problem is that I just don't like the iPhone interface on it. For my usage the interface doesn't translate well. So now I find myself using Alltops instead because I can read through the headlines on a lot of news very very quickly.
