Pingie notifies you via email or SMS when an RSS feed is updated

For the last week I’ve been using a free service called Pingie. It accepts a list of RSS feeds (maximum during their beta is 5 feeds) which it will then monitor for updates. As soon as Pingie detects that your RSS feed has been updated – it sends you an email and/or SMS text message notification. You can control where the notifications are sent and easily turn them on or off. The interface is ultra simple. If you have a few different sites you are always forgetting to check for updates – Pingie may be your answer. Try it by clicking over here -> to monitor GearDiary.com RSS feed for changes.

Wayne, thanks for mentioning this. I signed up the day you sent the email, and I love it! It makes it really easy to keep up with what’s going live on the site when I am not near a computer. :-D
