Documents To Go for Blackberry now available – $69

Dataviz have just announced that Documents To Go for Blackberry is now available for download via their web site. The list price is $69 and it requires that you be using the Blackberry Device Software version 4.5 or higher on a Blackberry 8700, 8100, 8300, 8800 or Blackberry Bold. To use Documents To Go to view and edit e-mail attachments, your organization must be running BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) 4.1.5 or BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) 2.5. A 30 day free trial is available. Included in the software suite are tools to edit Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint files in their native formats.

I have to look into this but I’m pretty sure some versions of OS 4.5 have Documents To Go included — it may just be a viewer. I’ll post more info when I know it.

Actually all versions of Device Software 4.5 should come with Documents To Go STANDARD (viewing and editing of Office files). The PREMIUM Edition, which was launched yesterday, has a bunch of additional features.
