Rather I think that the level of functionality that people expect from their phones has risen above the "push email" level. It's no longer amazing to get instant email. What's amazing is when your browser can get to all the same sites on your mobile as your desktop. We shall see -- I for one will be very interested to see if RIM can step up to the plate and deliver an improved system and not just a coat of paint on an older OS (aka Lipstick on a pig).
