I have dell video chat on my new laptop. it is suppose to be free. every time I try to call someone it says I don't have enough funds. I followed all the set up steps. the number is am trying to call is a land line....I am not using video just voice. I keep getting You have insufficient funds to place this call Error #402 It is suppose to be free. if I click on buy credits I get your phone out balance is -0-. Also if I try to buy an incoming phone number it does not list United State as a location? am I missing something..... PLEASE HELP!!! I am going to call and hopefully see my little grandchildren before I goto work!! thanks for letting me vent! I have been at this for the last 4 hours!!!! Now it seems to be working. Can't they? Do we have to have all the same stuff? If so, I even downloaded the MSN.live but cannot get that to work and am wondering if our new computer with security etc, firewalls, etc. that I cannot even get that program to work. I want to see my kids and grandkids and was sooo excited! But working on this for hours on end is trying my patience. I even use computers at work and trouble shoot somewhat, but I am still not computer savvy. Would appreciate any ideas. Thank you! He is getting back to me. I was on the phone for forever with Dell and they wanted to charge me for the call only after one month of having my new computer. So I chose not to pay and plan to try to figure this out somehow. I have no directions with this as it was already installed into our new laptop. You can add tons of friends/family to your contact list, and can have up to 4 people (counting yourself) in a video chat. I couldn't believe how clear the pictures were. I'm sure he'll say that has everything to do with his MAC. It seemed so easy to do (plus my mom figured out how to send a message) that I made a message and sent it to my husband in Iraq. He got it just fine, too!! This seems like a great system!
