Browsing online today I noticed some chit-chat around a possible RAZR 2 V9 in Black. It’s been about a year for the red/pink backlit V9 so it’s probably about time for Motorola to either retire it – or trot out some twins. It’s hard to tell based on these FCC photos where this may wind up. The speculation is that this V9 winds up on AT&T sometime later this summer. Glancing through the manual there seem to be a couple new features listed that may be of interest.
According to the draft copy of the user manual, it seems this model of the RAZR 2 V9 will have the capability to synchronize with Microsoft Exchange 2003 via Activesync.

According to the documentation accompanying this FCC test phone, this model seems destined to contain GPS as well as Bluetooth Class 1.

Nothing official to confirm that this model is headed to AT&T – but the rumor mill seems to be at least hoping for a late summer introduction. Phonescoop has some additional detail on the prior model as well as including links to the FCC site that appears to show this updated Black RAZR2 V9.
