Google today released an iPhone and iPod Touch browser based version of their Google Talk chat client. Because this version runs entirely in Safari it means if you navigate away from the browser your status will be changed to “unavailable” until you return. Everything else remains almost the same as the desktop version. You can select from a list of people you contact most, search contacts and manage multiple chats.
