SentrySafe introduces a new 250 GB waterproof and fireproof hard drive. This unit is rated to withstand fire temperatures as hot as 1,550 degrees Farenheit and can be fully submerged in water for up to 24 hours. While this rating is impressive, the fire and water ratings require that it be retrieved from those spots in rather short order. It seems like this storage is best suited for light duty (think fraternity house where rough handling and liquid spills and cigarette burns may be more likely) rather than natural disaster.
