If you’re a current iPhone owner and do plan to get an iPhone 3G, one thing may be on your mind: how do I move my stuff from one iPhone to another? This had crossed my mind as well, even though I don’t have an iPhone yet. However, not to worry… Apple’s got your back.
The subject is covered in a cool iPhone KB article that can be found here. If you’re in the US, you don’t need to eject the SIM from the original iPhone and move it to the new device. You can instead, follow the simple, 6 step process noted in the KB article and have all of your stuff moved to the new device in a few moments. The process seems pretty painless, though practice may prove to be a bit more complicated than it might appear on paper.
If you’re a current iPhone owner and take the iPhone 3G plung, let us know if this process works for you after you get your new device!
