If you’re like me, then you likely have your life on your mobile device. I am currently using the AT&T Tilt (HTC Kaiser) while I wait for the iPhone 3G to be released. Like many, I use a lot of the fine products by Ilium Software. One of my favorite apps, is eWallet. I just heard from my very good friend, Julie Van De Water that eWallet 6.1 has been released.
This is a staple app for me, meaning that I can’t really run a Windows Mobile Professional device without it. As such, I was very excited to hear about the upcoming upgrade. In classic Ilium style, since this is a point upgrade, registered 6.0 users get this one for free.
Here are the highlights on what is new in eWallet 6.1:
- –Personalize your cards by changing the field types: assign a type to any field in a card. Set multiple hidden fields, phone numbers, live email or web links, choose which fields to use with AutoPass – any type of data you want!
- –Use shortcuts for quick access to your most important cards: create shortcuts to your cards and build a Favorites folder of your most-used info.
- –Customize cards with optional color gradients: choose the exact background style you want. Use gradients or solid colors, one of our free background images, or design your own.
- –Find cards fast with our all new search: the Find feature now gives you a list of all possible cards that match what you’re looking for.
- –Save time with easier template creation: making and editing your card templates is now better than ever.
- –Work faster with improved Smartphone card editing: Windows Mobile Standard (Smartphone) users can now enjoy easier card editing on their devices.
Go and check it out!
