Improv Everywhere: Twins create mirror image subway ride

Improv Everywhere is a group of people who enjoy staging elaborate (humorous but harmless) public stunts. You might remember them from their Grand Central Terminal video (video / article) where dozens and dozens of people suddenly froze in time inside of Grand Central. for their latest mission they filled the #6 subway car in Brooklynn with identical twins, creating a human mirror. There’s a video and lots of pictures on the next page.



Improve Everywhere actually staged this mission twice. The first time they didn’t get the video that they hoped for. So they recruited another 9 sets of twins and went back to film again.

The mission was to place all the twins on a subway, and film the reaction of random riders when they noticed that the left set of subway seats was a mirror image of the people sitting on the right.
