Here’s the lap of luxury. It’s apparently a Japanese made keyboard covered in gold leaf to give the appearance of keys made from gold bars. This 99.9% gold leaf is made by Sakura Kazu and the site shows a price of 28.875 Yen which looks to be about $275 US. According to the site, the keys are at least semi-customizable via rear switch settings and thankfully the lettering appears to have been created for the US market (so tough to translate Japanese to English while typing). No word on what drivers may or may not be needed to connect this to your hardware or whether this will ever ship commercially to the rich and famous.

Gold keys to match gold fonts. I wonder if Flavor-Flav owns one? The keyboard, I mean.
