I find the black on grey too hard to read over time - I need better contrast than that. I also think the lack of color severely limits the type of magazines that can be delivered to the device in a desirable way. After all, who wants to read a copy of "People" or "Us" without seeing that full color pic of Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant? :-) Even though it would add to the cost/power consumption of the device, I won’t even consider the Kindle until they add a color display.
