From the “why didn’t I think of that” file comes Stuck Up Gum Magnets. Nothing more than magnets embedded into (fake) pieces of chewing gum. From the picture these look pretty darn realistic. The package includes 44 different flavors – bubble gum, spearmint, peppermint, and everyone’s favorite – tutti-frutti. Stick them anywhere metallic. Naturally you could probably make your own (and my kids have informally tried) by adding a magnet to some used gum – but that’d make for a huge mess. Sure to be a hit with the middle and high school set and establish you as “the coolest parent ever” ….for at least 10 minutes.
