Thanks much. Don’t really need to know how the Mac version works, just that there is a Mac software version.
I think the difference between the 2 models discussed is the resolution. Many sites just don’t give the model # but I think if it’s the 2.1 megapixel it’s the 25070. Also, to anyone looking, if you google 2.1 model 25050 you will often get a picture and description of this camera but it will say “digital camcorder”. Weird, huh?

Hey, Binsky. The software worked fine on XP and Vista. I think there was a Mac version, but I do not havea Mac and did cannot tell you how that works.

The one I reviewed had a flash, but I am not sure that all of the models have flashes.

Thinking this is just what I was looking for for my 6 year old niece for Christmas but can’t find any info on software compatibility – PC & mac? Does it have a flash?

Where did you find the 25070 model that is a 2.1 megapixel? All I am finding is model 23072 or 23075 which is a kit. I need this for a birthday next week. Thanks.

I think you are right. I noticed only last night that there is the 23070 and the 25070. I reviewed the 25070,which is a 2 megapixel camera. The 23070, I think, is only 1 megapixel.

Still, the pictures were generally not great. But I looked at it more as a toy and a learning experience more than a picture taking tool.

Wow, you must have gotten a DELUXE version of this camera.
My son got one for his birthday in January.
It looks just like the one in your pictures, but his does not have an SD slot.
The pictures he gets are WORTHLESS. I was there when he took the pictures, and I can barely tell what some of the pictures are.

The Crayola software looks the same too, but I was totally stricken by how bad the pictures were, that I didn’t pay attention to the how good the software was or wasn’t.
