The Ear Bible is a $149 wireless earpiece which includes a recorded copy of the New American Standard Bible (Updated Version). The company promises that by listening just 25 minutes per day – you’ll be taken through the entire Bible twice in one year.
Inventor and company president Chris Lascelles says, “It’s all about freedom and multitasking. When waiting in line or doing the grocery shopping, people will now be able to listen to the Bible
while doing these routine activities. One ear will listen to the audio bible, while the other remains available to interact with your environment. If your phone rings or someone asks you a question, the person can simply press pause to attend to the situation. All this without cords or earbuds to deal with.”
The device resembles a tiny Bluetooth headset (minus the microphone). A mini-usb charger is included.

According the company’s web site you can also load other audio onto the device (there is 1G of memory included).

Observations:
# 1 – An iPod Nano is cheaper and you can load lots of additional books and music
# 2 – The device is not shipping until December 2008
