Move over Rick Astley – here comes Barack Roll

YouTube Preview ImageYou’re familiar with being “Rick Rolled” – right? That’s when someone sends you a web link that unexpectedly dumps out to this video of Rick Astley singing Never Gonna Give you Up. It’s a cute song – the first time you see it. After the 10th time. Not so much (although I love it live at this basketball game). Someone went and re-did the whole Rick Roll concept and inserted Barack Obama dancing and singing. It’s quite entertaining. Thought you might like to see it (if you haven’t already) so you’ll have time to pass it around work tomorrow. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Barack slipped into this song during one of his campaign appearances…the ultimate merger of politics and YouTube.

… wow XD That’s so great. (if they could convince him to actually sing it, he would probably auto-gain the support of the entire internet… or at least of all of /b/, which is already a pretty good number of people ;) )

That would be so cool, he would get my vote!

(But I’m not in the US so it’s easy for me to say that, and he’d get my vote anyway, even if he doesn’t sing)
