So far I have to say I just love it - with data SIM in and with custom ROM (set at 128 DPI) it's a great micro PC / MID.
Opera beta works really nice for mobile browsing - big VGA screen helps as well :-)
I also use it quite a lot as my mail/"outlook" device, with FlexMail and Pocket Informant installed and both working great on VGA I almost don't need my work PC for that anymore...
My issues are similar to yours - video playback should/could be better and my "personal" problem - USB host doesn't work with USB HardDrives - which is annoying, but I'm getting 8GB USB Flash stick to solve that...

I have my 7500 for about a month now (bought it from E-bay for a bit less than 400 EUR) as a replacement for my broken Everun UMPC.

So far I have to say I just love it – with data SIM in and with custom ROM (set at 128 DPI) it’s a great micro PC / MID.<br

Just doing a quick Google search show those being over $300. There's your difference.

Chris, I think the main reason behind the price difference is the fact the 7510 has a 16GB flash drive. I really like this device - the size, the display, all of it is ideal for my use except the price. If it was in the $800 range, as the 7500/7501 was, I'd be more inclined to go for it. Of course now that the HTC Touch Diamond (unsubsidized) is in the $750 range and the Touch Pro is in the $900+ range this seems almost reasonable. Hmmm.

Any idea why this device is retailing at $300 + more than the 7500/7501 (even before this was released)?

I really like this device – the size, the display, all of it is ideal for my use except the price.
