So this 740 beeing narrower should fell just as good.

The edges shouldn’t be a problem – it looks pretty much like the Touch Diamond, and this one feels quite nice in the hand (or pocket).<br

I think it loses something in the translation (from WinMo Pro) and there are too many app compatability concerns. If I want a WinMo device I'm more inclined to stick with a WinMo Pro device like the TouchPro or the Diamond, etc. But for those that like WinMo Standard and aren't annoyed with its limitations, and are on a European carrier (for now) this might be an ideal device!

This device does looks nice, but I’m not a big fan of WinMo Standard. Can I be too sexy for my phone?? this thing looks awesome. I'd love to give this a shot; but with 3G on it targeted to Europe/Asia, I wonder how great it would be here.

And while I think it looks great (even if it is a fingerprint magnet), I do have to wonder about how it would feel in hand (its caressability, if you will) due to the sharp edges. Good point reidme.

The S740 looks like a natural progression in the evolution of the S710 (Vox). I'm also not a big fan of these slide out keyboards. In practice they seem fine for casual users (one or two emails per day) -- but if you do heavier texting and/or emailing they're a pita to use (imho).

Mitchell and his prior reviews have me spooked on this entire line…

I’m also not a big fan of these slide out keyboards.
