I am excited to give this Navigon a try. I imagine here in DC, there will be quite an extensive library of buildings. But how well will that work when we visit a smaller city? Like my parent in SC? I use the HP 310 regularly (it's based on iGo8) and I drove into New Orleans a few weeks ago and noticed it had most of the CBD (downtown) and the French Quarter rendered in 3D buildings. I suspect all the nav apps/PNAs will be like this is a few years. So does iGo8 – worldwide (as I imagine the software version of Navigon does too). So, I couldn't really say how this compares. Basically, the Navigon has hundreds (or more) of landmark buildings in cities across the US, which appear in full 3D view.
