Stone Designs just shipped out their new Twittelator Pro client for the iPhone. This software adds a number of features that I’ve found lacking in other iPhone Twitter apps. Mainly I can now view all tweets sent to me, view the “everyone” twitter feed, and last but not least - Twittelator Pro adds copy and paste (tap and hold any tweet for 1 second) to their application. The cost is $4.99 and in my testing the applications is fast and stable. Twittelator Pro takes the best of the features in other applications and significantly enhances them.

The options screen of Twittelator Pro gives the ability to:

- Pick from one of three themes (the colors are basic - blue, tan or pinkish)

- Activate a “one click” emergency button that sends out a Twitter asking for help.

(Tip: If you have a cell signal I suggest calling police instead of asking Twitter-land to save you)

- Ability to turn on/off auto correct and capitalize (very helpful when you abbreviate a lot like I do).

The main Twittelator Pro screen lets you select which tweets to view.

I’ve been waiting for the ability to see all the tweets someone has sent to me - and I know have it via the “My Replies” selection as shown below.

I am increasingly using Twitter to search or observe hot topics that people are chatting about. For example, I was in New York City last night to see the musical HairSpray (fantastic) and did a quick search to see if there was any current discussion about it.
