This isn’t going to be a long post, and honestly, this is more speculation on my part; but I’ve seen notes all across the internet over the past few days saying that Apple is going to have some shin-dig in San Francisco on 09-09-08. Who’s gonna jump on board with me and say that Stevie J. is pushing to have the whole kit and kaboodle, new Macs, Nanos, iPods AND new iPhone software, all announced at the same time?
Seems logical, I know; but if he doesn’t, then it wouldn’t be the first time that he disappointed. Only time will tell; but I was sitting here in front of my MacBook Pro, jamming out to Los Lonely Boys (me gusta mucho, BTW), and it just kinda hit me.

Yes to everything but new iPhone software. Apple has been low key on the problems and will continue to follow the SOP in the cellular industry of not talking about the issues so that people think it’s “just their phone” instead of being a system wide issue.
Apple hasn’t made any announcement (not even a list of what’s fixed) on the previous two iPhone 2 updates and I bet they are low key on 2.1.
After all – how do they introduce it — “we know our software had problems”….

You may be right. (I may be crazy..?) Seriously… you may be right, but with the second class action lawsuite (http://www.appleinsider.com/ar.....hones.html)now filed, this time in California, Apple would do well to get this thing done, tested, fixed and out in 6 more days…
I’m just sayin’…
