Apple has been low key on the problems and will continue to follow the SOP in the cellular industry of not talking about the issues so that people think it's "just their phone" instead of being a system wide issue. Apple hasn't made any announcement (not even a list of what's fixed) on the previous two iPhone 2 updates and I bet they are low key on 2.1. After all - how do they introduce it -- "we know our software had problems".... Yes to everything but new iPhone software.
