I’m a fan of Songbird disposable hearing aids but thought I would try this one. VERY DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. I have worn it once though, and altough it was uncomfortable, the sound level was good.

VERY DECEPTIVE advertising though, I called and told them. I was told I was the FIRST to complain…sure!

Yes, better than spending 5K and having them sit on the dresser, but…although I’m still willing to give the product a try…their advertising and pricing is VERY DECEPTIVE!!!

I had problem with these people also. I ordered the 30 day trial offer and additional aid. I received them on 12/5/08 and returned them on 12/15/09. I had a credit of 148.95 and then there was a charge of 49.95. I called them and they said they refunded all my money. I have tried to get this 49.95 charge off my credit card and they keep telling me they have refunded all. The trial offer was 149.85 and the extra aid 99.00. I don't see where they refunded all. Is there a way to get this off my credit card.

When you called the 800 # to order the amount was $22.90 ($14.95 trial and $7.95 S&H). They stated if you were not satisfied and returned it you would receive a refund minus the $7.95 S&H. We returned it and now they state the $14.95 is not refundable. I protested this charge to my card. The original 800# is not longer in service, and I think this was just a way to get a little money off everyone who called in originally. Besides that the product is cheap!!!!!

I phoned in an order in December 2008 & by mid-January had not received it. I called on 1-26 & the phone number is no longer available. The website www.customerstatus.comwas blocked from my laptop due to a security issue. Needless to say I called my credit card, & the charge had not been put on my card. Items like this attract dupes like me who have spent over $3000 for aids that don’t work and are subject to non-service. My Miracle Ears, purchased in Pueblo, CO have been back in the shop almost 50% of the time I’ve had them. The name is appropriate–it’s a “MIRACLE” if they work.

While this might look like a good thing, it is not custom fit to your ear and will most likely NOT perform as well as one made for you specifically nor be as comfortable. As far as the sound goes, there are many different hearing losses, and using this is just a stab in the dark when it comes to matching yours. There have been lots of other such devices on the market before, and they are just gimmicks which eventually will fail. Getting a celebrity to endorse it is only used as a means to give it some credibility in the consumer's eyes–just a marketing ploy. Don't waste your time and money on something like this…go to a trained professional for a thorough evaluation and advice. Besides, it sounds like the customer service for this is already falling apart. Don't be suckered in!

There is a reason that they are so cheap. I have had two people in my hearing aid office and had wished that they didn't waste there money on them. I gave them both a discount of the $149. they wasted and are extremly happy with the ones that I fit them with under $800.

I ordered 2 on December 13th 2008 still haven't seen anything. I've tried to contact their Customer Service by the telephone number ….unable to get through. I have tried e-mail and can not get an answer regarding the status of my order. How do you return it once you get it, if your not happy with it ?or get it repaired or replaced? I would sincerely like to try it but am concerned about any kind of Customer Service if needed. Does anyone know who the Chinese Manufacturer is?

got my husband one. He likes it even better than his expensive hearing aid (that he hates). It doesn't stay charged long enough, but he does like it. We are working through the charging thing, but can't find any customer service assistance.
