Seinfeld & Gates – the second advertisement

The second ad in the Seinfeld and Gates series is definitely funnier. Will this ad campaign go down in history as anything more than something to watch as you wait for your iPhone to upgrade to version 2.1? Does it make you want to buy Microsoft Software or could this just be a cool way to sell WHG III embroidered Windows backpacks like the one featured in this spot?

I’m finally getting it. Gates + Seinfeld. Commercials – — about nothing. Brilliant!

It is very much like a mini Seinfeld TV show with Gates as his best friend.

FUNNY!!! Alot longer than I expected! Just a couple of average joes……. Don’t know that it would change my mind about Microsoft but they are amusing!

Again – just like with the first ad – I can see where it’s supposed to be funny, but it just doesn’t strike me that way. They just kind of come off as annoying to me. But then, that’s how I felt about the characters/jokes on the old Seinfeld show too. Just doesn’t do it for me.

I think MS could do much better than this to help improve it’s image.

    This is extremely boring.

I like it, in fact I’ve watched it 4 times now. I think it’s cool how MS is getting us to watch commercials voluntarily and they don’t even have to buy ad time on TV. I’m still not using Windows.
