
According to a Sprint Developer forum posting – Samsung Instinct users can expect an upgrade to their web browser starting on or about September 17. This update will at first require the user to initiate the upgrade over the air themselves. Beginning on September 24 Sprint should be pushing the update automatically. This is according to an announcement posted September 5 on the Sprint Developer forum and apparently backed up by several leaked browser images:
Sprint will be releasing a new software maintenance release for the Instinct handset with the primary changes focused on the browser.

There’s still no official word on a release to enable on screen keyboard with use of arrow keys (aka – LCDUI problem) on the Sprint Samsung Instinct with the last communication from Sprint apparently hoping for an October timeframe for initial testing of the long awaited update.
