I had so many stuffed animals when I was little, and a lot of them I still have. I viewed them as friends, and even though I know they are not alive, its hard to part with them. I had the one with the real heartbeat, which is as close to alive as it got for me. I have to agree with Judie. I always wanted them to be more alive, since I didn't have any pets at home.
