They never fail to set my toes tapping. Their music is great fun, but they have a serious side too.

I don’t think there is a “one, true band”, but my go-to band lately has been Barenaked Ladies. Wow, that's tough, because I'm always looking to expand my horizons. I had a something of an eclectic upbringing...my father had LPs back in the early 70s that I used to stick on my sister's state-of-the-art Winnie the Pooh record player, things like Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven album (the one with the picture of the woodcutter on a peeling wall), some Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs, Ray Charles What'd I Say, Simon & Garfunkels' Bridge Over Troubled Water or Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme along with an extensive library of classical music, so I suffer from a wacky range of extremes. One minute it's Erik Satie's Gymnopedie set, next might be Savatage White Witch or Rolling Stone's Sympathy for the Devil , then back to Bach's Goldberg Variations. Drives my wife nuts.

Favorite song, band or album? Wow, that’s tough, because I’m always looking to expand my horizons. I like lots of different music.
Lately I've been getting into some Blues, like BB King.
I've borrowed some from the library to see if I like it, and then have gone out and purchased some BB King CDs.
Now I'm looking to expand my Blues likes.

More GD fun!!!

I like lots of different music.<br
