Like to bike and listen to music on your iPod? Hate manipulating cords while you bike? Here’s a neat device from iHome. The iHome Bike to Beach player mounts to your bike’s frame and plays music from your iPod via the top mounted speaker. The iHome web site and Amazon lists this at $69 – but if you head to Heartland America’s web site (link at the end of this article as well as coupon code for $10 off) it can be yours for about $24 shipped.
The device includes a wireless RF handlebar mounted remote which can change songs on your iPod. The entire mount is fully waterproof and includes all the hardware needed to strap onto your bike. All iPod with dockable connections are supported – EXCEPT it is NOT recommended for iPod Touch or iPhone.
The top mounted speaker (waterproof).

Here are some of the accessories included with the device:

As you can see, your iPod is securely held within the iHome2Go which also keeps it watertight. There is an AC adapter included which recharges both the iPod and the iHome2Go.
Follow the link below to order the iHome2Go for $29.99 less a $10 savings if you use coupon code F0C4-1115 or F6R6-7391 or FOR4-7070 (Note: There is a reported service charge of about $4 bringing the net price to about $24).
